Nestor Gomez will enchant you with an amazing story!Nestor Gomez was born in Guatemala and traveled undocumented to the US in the mid 1980's. He is a self taught poet and writer who started to tell stories as a way to get over his stuttering. He has won the Moth SLAM close to 40 times and he is a 3-time Chicago Grand SLAM Champion. However, he says that his biggest accomplishment are his two kids, making his mother proud and winning the heart of his beloved wife "sweet Mel". Nestor produces/hosts/curates the storytelling show 80 Minutes Around the World, Immigration stories. |
